Post Term Sociology Adventure to the Urban Life Center

As soon as I learned that Willamette University offers a sociology credit for students who attend the "post term" session at the Urban Life Center in Chicago, I knew I had to go. ULC is a non-profit educational organization that works closely with institutions of higher learning to bring students to the city of Chicago and teach them, experientially, about urban living and the dynamics of city life. It was an eye-opening experience and a great adventure.

This is a journal I kept during the three and a half weeks I was there. Some of the writing is focused toward the facilitator and some specific things he asked us to look for and reflect on, so if it seems a little disjointed or unclear in places, please forgive me!
