Lithuania (1 Week)
About this blog
A quick, disappointing spin around tiny Lithuania to reach Vilnius, Europe's new "culture capital." Baroque and neo-Gothic architecture (they say?) all over the compact Old Town of narrow, winding, cobbled streets with an interesting, old building around every corner.
There are plenty pubs and restaurants filled with friendly, English-speaking locals and sexy women flaunting those Eastern European genes, but it is the (current) absence of bachelor-partying, young Brits and countless tour groups that takes this impressive Old World city a step ahead of Prague or Krakow.
Come see for yourself before Ryanair ruins it and while it's still one of Europe's cheapest, worthwhile and special cities!
