Having considered The Mongol Rally but realising that my chances of getting in were slim and the dates were not good, I decided to have a go at doing the trip independantly. Several people showed interest and I realised that a car would not be sufficient. During a drunken evening in a pub, thinking of vehicles with some sort of comedy value, it came to me. A double decker bus. How British ! Cruising through deserts and plains on an open top double decker bus. It's going to take a lot of work to pull it off. Lets see how we get on.
