Hi, Carol and John are attempting to drive from San Diego to Tierra del Fuego and back north.

We are leaving San Diego around the middle of Jan 2008, driving to La Paz,MX,crossing on the ferry to the mainland and visiting with friends in Puerto Vallarta for a few days.Then Guatmala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rico (staying here for a week or two), Panama, (Columbia )looking for a way around - maybe , Ecuador,Peru, Chile, Argentina (staying with friends near Mendoza), Uraguay,and finally Brasil. We want to spend time touring the Amazon River so we may ship our Rubicon back to the states while we take this side trip.
