Australia: a journey back home

About this blog

I flew back to Australia as quickly as possible upon recieving news that my grandfather's was on his deathbed. Sadly I missed him by several days but thankfully I spoke to him on the phone before I left... before he left.

The trip turned into an extended 5 months as I sorted out his affairs and tried to make the most of being near the beach in my beautiful home area in Australia. My wonderfully caring girlfriend flew over and spent most of the time with me, and my daughter was also able to come for a month. It was great having them with me.
