We drove down the day after an indoor show in Stuttgart, through Zürich and across the San Bernardino pass into northern Italy. The top of the pass and the drive down was amazing with breathtaking views extending across an entire alpine valley. The road descended like a snake from about 2000m above sea level, with stunning country-side the whole way. There's a kind of adrenalin that comes from driving down heights with hair-pin bends, even at a relaxed pace...
