Walking the Camino de Santiago

Greetings friend and family!
After four years of living and working in New York City, it is time to step into life abroad. I have arrived in beautiful Europe safe and sound, spending 4 wonderful days with friends on la Costa Brava in the beautiful town of Cadaques!
Now the REAL journey begins! Taking four different trains (one ten hour overnight trip) I will arrive in St. Jean Pied de Port at the eastern foot of the Pyrenees tomorrow afternoon. From there I will begin my ascent crossing into Spain at Roscesvalles.
El Camino Frances, my planned route, will bring me over five hundred miles to Santiago de Compostella, jewel of Galicia.
