Jen and Mike's Cross-country Camping and Canoeing Adventure
About this blog
The canoe is on the roof, the bike is on the back and the trunk (boot) is stuffed full of camping gear. The car is so loaded down that it will only reach 14 miles an hour and get about 2 mpg.
Instead of the dull 5 day cross-country trip to the east coast we are heading out on a six week expedition from San Francisco through California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado , New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, finally making it tired and dirty to South Carolina.
On the way we will be camping, canoeing, mountain biking, sleeping, eating, sightseeing, and doing quite a lot of driving.
