Set 400 metres above sea-level atop a hill ridge above the confluence of the Mekong and Ruak rivers in the heart of the Golden Triangle. Located 70 km from Chiang Rai; follow Highway A2 North to a Mae Chan. Turn right on road 10160 towards Chiang Saen. At Chiang Saen, turn left on road 1290 and follow the Mekong River to Sop Ruak. (also referred to as Sam Liem Tongkam, the Golden Triangle Village'). The resort is on the right-hand side, 2 km beyond Sop Ruak.
