Following the sucess of the Peru blog back by poular demand is the Italian Christmas short trip 2007. The flights are booked, hostels arranged (due to Clare's nagging) and the Lonely Planet guide is good to go. The basic plan is to fly to Rome for the main festivities, have a bit of a chin wag with the Pope, travel up to Venice for New Year passing through Florence, Bologna and verona possibly. All in two weeks and over the holidays!!! Some trip to fit in but so many places to go and so little time!
