A South American Adventure

About this blog

Our journey began in South America's thinnest country, exploring the tourism and hospitality industry of Chile. We made our way south for summer, stopping to exchange work for room and board at various lodges, hostels, and B&B's from the Colchagua Valley to Puerto Varas and finally all the way south to Puerto Natalas.

After a stint in the south it was time to return north, passing through Buenos Aires, exploring the Tigre Delta, and making our way to the far west of Andes for a month of work on a Posada.

We've now made our way across Bolivia and into Peru, volunteering in the Sacred Valley of the Inca with eco-construction, gardening, and a bit of exploring.

A trip to Machu Picchu was the perfect ending to Peru, and once again it was time to carry on, so we took the fast track and flew up to Ecuador. We've been on the southern coast for a few weeks now, working at a small lodge, building an Eco-campsite, and helping on an organic farm.
