A two week vacation spent in a very remote part of Costa Rica. Montezuma, is on the eastern side of the Nicoya, Peninsula on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. Montezuma is one of the most laid back, friendly, remote places that we've ever been to. You will not find a single Starbucks, Wal*Mart, or Hard Rock Cafe anywhere within driving distance. The town itself is very small with three roads in the shape of an "H". The main branch of the "H" goes up and down the cost while the cross bar and the other side of the "H" are merely access roads. The other side of the "H" leads to the beach on each end, so you're not getting anywhere from there.
