Caribbean, Easter 2008 - Suriname, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago

I had 12 days & a friend working in Guyana, no direct flights from UK. We decided to see as much as we could, both liking the idea of Tobago n Suriname. I spent my first night in Paramaribo, took "buses" to Georgetown next morning (Easter Day), party at Charles' house in the evening (jet-lag!), tour of Georgetown Monday, and flew off to Trinidad and Tobago Tuesday. 4 nights Tobago, saw most of it, Saturday night Port of Spain on Trinidad followed by a tour the next day. Then fly back to Paramaribo for 4 nights, leaving Charles to take the "buses" back to Gtown at the weekend.
All very interesting - history, peoples, scenery. Most beautiful was Tobago, but Suriname probably more welcoming, though others may get a different perspective.
