Had skied a week in Vail, CO. Rather than fly home took Continental Trailways special 3 weeks unlimited bus travel. Visited some friends, new places.

The dates are now exact. It was from Feb 16 to March 17, 1974. It was by Trailways long distance bus. Generally I would stay in an inexpensive hotel close by the bus station at night. Mostly I just wanted to see the lay of the land. Little exploring of the towns or cities on stop overs.
Did visit a long time friend in Dallas, a greatly admired instructor in Kansas City, and another friend from my youth in Hopewell, NJ.
Met a lovely young lady in Durango, CO and we talked for hours to Gallup, NM. I had to change buses there, only a few minutes stop. She kissed me on the cheek and we parted. Never knew her name.
This travel log will be almost nothing but map pins. Found maps of trip route highlighted with yellow marke.
