It all started with an outrigger race, the World Championships. Then a hope, time off was approved, a flight booked, training began, and suddenly it's here! Time for the race, time for adventure!

Welcome! My trip will be short, sweet and packed with adventure, and I'm sure - random stories. My plan is to be able to update this throughout the two weeks I'm traveling (that's the point of a travel blog, isn't it?) but that will depend on my access to the Internet. The goal? Travel to New Zealand, participate in the World Championship outrigger races and then spend another week traveling around the South Island. World-wide competition, outrigger, friends, wine tasting, kayaking, adventures. If only it could last forever. I may have to stay. But for at least two weeks - Bring it on.
