About this blog

Welcome to our journal as we begin our travels in "Pyke's Palace", our home on wheels. Planning for this trip started over four years ago, when we bought the motorhome with plans of retiring to travel fulltime. The major transition took place during this past year, as we dispensed with and disposed of all the "stuff" we (ok, I - being Rose) have accumulated. We've now been living in our cozy corner since August 1st, and feel quite well prepared for the ~10,000 miles we expect to cover in 2006. Our countdown to retirement is in its final days now, with Rose's last day scheduled for January 5th, and Greg's being January 6th. Hope you'll join us on the web and enjoy traveling along with us in our life on wheels!
