Summer vacation is finally here and I am ready to vacate the land of 115 degree temperates to start my 6 week overland camping adventure from Nairobi to Johannesburg. I've packed my tent and sleeping bag, malaria pills and mosquito repelent, and just got the last of my 6 vaccinations for possible diseases. I will be traveling through the countries of Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, and South Africa. Some of the highlights of my trip should be stops at the Masai Mara, Serengeti, Mikumi, and Hwange National Parks; Lakes Malawi and Kariba; the island of Zanzibar, and Victoria Falls. I hope everyone enjoys reading the blog and following my trip.
