Having travelled throughout Mexico and enjoyed the northern edge of the Barrier Reef (2nd largest to Australia's Great Barrier Reef) that starts near Cozumel, we wanted to see the Belizean area of the reef in part because it is a scant 3-5 minutes from the shore of Ambergris Caye.
