We're off to New Zealand to meet as many of the island nation's 3.6 million residents (and 40 million sheep) as possible during our three week journey. New Zealand is the 37th nation on Paul's quest for having set foot in 50 countries before he dies...which he hopes not to do while bungee jumping, skydiving, photographing and wining and dining in this remote land 6,500 miles southwest of Los Angeles--a 13-hour flight--and 1,200 miles from the Australian mainland. What follows is our account of this, the most lengthy journey of our 29-year marriage. We have no plan, no reservations (other than for the first and last night) but our expectations are high.
