The mighty Himalayas is much more than the Everest. In fact, there are several beautiful peaks standing tall not just altitudinally, but also attitudinally...and not least spiritual attitude! Four such peaks boast of four abodes or the Char Dham. A yatra (or journey) of these four temples promise nothing less than Nirvana. We covered two of these shrines, Kedarnath and Badrinath, over a period of one whole, spiritual week. But it need not only be a pilgrimage. A week in the Himalayas bless you with the best that nature has to offer. Far from the madness of the city and its pressures, this was a pilgrimage to the shrines, the mountains, the beauty of the Himalayas, and most importantly, to the divine force within each of us...
