About this blog

I am officially semi-retired and Sharon has completed her recent degree at universtiy. We have been planning this trip for a while now and are pleased to announce that it is finally here. 2008 will bring us back to Asia, but this time for a 3-month term; we will return home for the summer; and then spend time planning for our next destination. Our travel map shows our previous trips to that part of the world - both Japan and China - and will soon include our current adventures to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Bhutan, and Nepal. We hope that our stories and experiences will be enjoyable as it's the best way to take you along for the ride.
