This blog will describe my first trip to the unique land of Iceland. I have always wanted to travel to Iceland, but the cost of travel to Iceland made it quite prohibitive, but October, 2009 changed all of that. The world credit crisis almost brought down the Iceland economy and the value of the krona was reduced by 50% in relation to the dollar. An inexpensive ($400) flight and I am on my way!!
