Hello Friends and Family! I am embarking on this 3-month long trip to study Japanese language and culture with KCP International School in business district of Tokyo- Shinkjuku! But before I begin my schooling and homestay with the Kanos' in Tokyo I plan to be a Working Visitor at the Asian Rural Institute in the farming city of Nasushiobara, Tochigi prefecture. The Insitute invites rural leaders from Asia, Africa, and the Pacific to spend 9 months studying community development, sustainable and organic agriculture, and leadership.
