Holiday happenings - from a birthday party to Vegas to reuniting with old friends

Well, we meet again! I'm not so much a lone wanderer, evident with all the friends and family who have accompanied me on this journey, but I still think my interests put me in a category of my own.
This was the first time I was able to spend my birthday at school, and while it was in the middle of exams, I managed to celebrate the end of my teenage years. After the whirlwind of tests and papers, it was off to Las Vegas with my family. It's become a sort of Christmas tradition, and no matter how many times I go there, I still manage to do/see something new and have fun. The travel doesn't end there though, as I went San Antonio to spend New Year's with an old friend. Here I thought "winter break" was a time of rest.
