Every adventue begins with a dream. My dream was to see the Antarctic. From that dream came the reality that will include a trip to the Galapagos Islands as well as a journey to the Amazon in Ecuador. Back in Chile we will go directly to Easter Island for a week then from Santiago (on the mainland) we head south to catch a ferry from Puerto Montt to Puerto Arenas. Hopefully we will spend Christmas hiking in Patagonia then make our way to Ushuaia where we board a ship for our journey to the Antarctic. Exhausted and happy (I hope) we then make our way back to Santiago and home.
