Travels from England The beginning of my lifelong adventure-I hope!
About this blog
With deep emotions of both trepidation and excitement, I left my small but comfortable 3rd floor walk-up in MA. for an adventure across the pond in Merry Old England. I was happy but broke when I heard from a collegue about a job opportunity to work with the US military. I'm a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in the birth to 3 year old population. With thousands of American families stationed over-seas, there are many children born or transfered to countries that do not offer the same care their children are eligible for in the US. That's where I and my collegues come in. We provide services for these youngest members of military families. The opportunity to travel was my primary incentive to make the move to Europe.
