Sun Worshipping in Kauai. Give Me that Sun and Sand, Please!

The winter blues have set in and it's time to head to somewhere sunny and warm. This year we're heading to Kauai where we plan hiking in Waimea Canyon on the Kukui trail. We also plan to hike the Nu'alolo Trail/Awa'awapuhi loop up on Koke'e. It looks down onto Kalalau beach at the end of the Napali coast trail with some fantastic views. Then, it's off to Kapaa for a few days of snorkling and fun in the sun. To break up our trip, we'll spend 4 days backpacking on the Kalalau trail along the Napali coast. The rest of the trip is unplanned, but we're hoping for some new experiences. So, you'll have to stay tuned!
