From the Emerald Isle to the Sunburnt Down-Under. Over-land and sea the whole long way. Will sea-sickness and cabin fever push them over the edge? Will they resort to FLYING? (God forbid!)

Hello Everybody,

Welcome to our journey!

This idea was conceived from a love of the world crossed with a passion for the environment (and our commitment 2 reduce our carbon emissions). All in all a very good excuse to travel. The premise of this trip is to travel from The Republic of Ireland (2 be sure, 2 be sure) 2 Australia (true blue mate) without the aid of aeroplanes. But already we have a snag! We have mapped out a well worn goat-track from Ireland 2 Singapore, but from Singapore 2 Oz we are having difficulty finding a boat that will take us. Could we live with the burden of coming so close but yet so far? (we could plant a few trees?) Or will the solution present itself in the coming months?
