Job Hunting in Derby

My daughter, Rebecca, was going to Derby for a trial day before being offered a job in the newly opened Westfield Centre in the city centre. I offered to take her as I'd never been to Derby and wanted to know where she'd be living. The Cathedral Quarter has a variety of small independent shops and I enjoyed walking around site seeing. The Westfield Centre is very impressive. It's light and airy, easy to find your way around and has the usual high street shops. We stayed in the Stuart Hotel opposite the hospital (about 5 mins walk away). It was a good deal through Lastminute.com, was modern and clean but I'm not sure it warrants it's 4 stars. I'll no doubt be back soon and I'm looking forward to exploring the Peak District.
