Now we are off to explore our home of Australia in more detail. Tasmania has always been on our "want to go" list, even made more so since Liz discovered that two sets of her great great grandparents came to Tasmania from Ireland, one as a convict, the other family as free immigrants. Pretty interesting considering we are all from New Zealand and never knew of any link to Australia. Tasmania is supposed to be much like the south island of New Zealand and we are very much looking forward to experiencing the history and the beautiful scenery of it all!!! To make it even more special we are travelling with our daughter Anna and her partner Peter, who was born in London. Four Weeks (To Go) and Counting....
