Snowbirds' Migration 2008--San Miguel, Oaxaca, and Costa Rica

After a year and a half of personal challenges that limited our travels, we were eager to hit the road again, for points south, to escape what has proven to be a bitter Midwest winter. We are beginning with a return visit to San Miguel de Allende, for the month of January, where we have rented a gorgeous house and plan to kick back and relax, having been here twice before. Then on Feb. 1 on to Oaxaca, via Mexico City. With the civil unrest that plagued that city subsiding, we are looking forward to our first visit to Oaxaca. Then on Feb. 6 on to San Jose, Costa Rica for almost three weeks of touring with Road Scholar, one 10 day itinerary with an emphasis on ecology and the other a digital camera workshop.
