Patagonia : del Fin del Mundo
About this blog
Patagonia, occupying just over 400,000 sq. miles on the southern tip of South America, is a land of incredible beauty, with vast deserts, towering mountains, ice blue glaciers, pristine lakes, and foremost, its mystique. Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated with the stories of gauchos, native people thought to be giants, and Cape Horn, del fin del mundo, the end of the world.
So this is the story of our journey to fulfill a lifetime of fascination and see what truly is "The End of the World". Our journey starts in Buenos Aires, then El Calafate and Torres del Paine, followed by a cruise through Tierra del Fuego, and then back to Buenos Aires. From Buenos Aires we took a short 3 day trip to Iguassu Falls before heading home.
