Having firmly decided that life is too short to miss all that Ireland has to offer, good friend Lauren Luethold and I opted to head off for a week of exploring in late April '09. With 2 standby tickets in hand, a pseudo rental car partially reserved, and no real nor tentative travel plan in place, it should be a good time just carting around the island and enjoying local culture and sites of what is continually referred to as one of the most friendly destinations on the planet.
