Soooo I am studying in Washington DC for the semester. I will be interning and learning about social issues such as healthcare, education, immigration, community, etc in a program called transforming communities. Basically getting the ground work to make the world a better place or something like that :) Oh, and I will be volunteering, hearing 'professionals' speak, attending protests, demonstrations, cultural events, and whatever else I can find time for. I also hope to visit some of the East Coast soooo if you live hear and want me to break in your couch let me know!
