In Search of the New Prague/Scraping the Surface of a Sixth Continent

For my first 4-month stint, I searched Eastern Europe for locales living up to the title of "the new Prague!" Now, I'm avoiding a Canadian winter by heading for the warmth of South America, my sixth continent.
Disclaimer: it is my intent that all historical data presented as fact is accurate. However, I'm sure I've lied several times. Just don't take what I say too much to heart.
