Hello folks . . . As of today the plan is to leave Kanata, ON, Canada on January 15, 2009 with the bike inside a U-Haul trailer and pull it over two days to Cummings, Atlanta where my son lives. I will unload bike, turn in the trailer, and set off south to warmth! My plans have been shortened somewhat due to the uncertainly of the economy and its potential negative effect on my retirement savings I hope to get through Mexico, into Guatemala, Honduras and Belize before returning by the beginning of March, 2009. I hope I will have much better luck with the weather for this segment. Stay tuned.
