New York, concrete jungle where dreams are made

About this blog

A concrete jungle filled with lights and dreams. Where? New York of course. I'm off to the home of finance, media, art, fashion and research. Once described as the cultural capital of the world, New York is one of the biggest, most popular cities in not only America but the whole entire world.

Through the beauty of television and film I have fallen in love with this iconic city before even visiting. Remember the moment in King Kong when the Gorilla scales the building in New York? Remember watching the Christmas classic Miracle on 34th street..of course you do! West Side Story, Breakfast at Tiffanys, Home Alone, The Godfather; the list is endless! New York is a legendary city. In a way through my television screen I feel like I have already visited.

Over the next 4days I'll be hitting this concrete jungle for real with my favourite crazy girl Jovan. We've been friends now for 17years now; we've chased wellies down sinking mud in Garelochead aged 11, we've ghost hunted in Edinburgh and now we look to chase yellow taxis, hit Broadway and say hi to the Empire State. When the two jo's are together there's always a story to tell. Remember the legendary skirt blowing scene in Seven year itch with Marlylin Munroe. That scene of course takes place in New York and I can tell just now if any two girls are able to recreate this moment without even realising or batting an eyelid its jojo and jovan. Watch this space to keep up with our tales because I can ensure you there will be many to tell!

My main focus is to stop jovan from getting a cap in her ass.....Kidding maw! Hehehehe
