A different side of asia...
I have been living in mainland China for two years and am billing this journey through Central Asia as my "last trip" before starting work in finance and becoming a responsible, money earning person. I have traveled through most of the rest of asia, now it's time to get out to some 'stans and see asia fade into the middle east.
The next two months will cover a lot of different landscapes, languages, climates and people in Central Asia. also a nice plus are two of the greatest high altitude road trips on earth: the karakoram highway from china into pakistan, and the pamir highway in tajikistan.
