Visiting my parent's homeland...
About this blog
Though we're ethnically Chinese, my parent's were born and raised in Svaey Rieng, Cambodia. They escaped in 1975 as Pol Pot's regime was taking power, only to return 5 years later as refugees fleeing from the economic and political crisis occuring in Vietnam. This will be my first time back since our 1980 flee; I'm here to retrace some of those steps...
