As most of you know, Jim and I departed for our 'little' trip a few days ago.

We are planning on 15 months but may alter that depending on how it is all going. We start with 3-4 months in India, then onto Burma (2wks), Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia (1 month each). After that we head to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore,HK, Bali and finally onto Australia and NZ.

Both of us have wanted to make this type of trip for a longtime but it was after our experiences in Thailand in Dec 2004 that we decided we had to go for it...why wait?? You only live once!

So we sadly said our goodbyes...(several times)...and jetted off.

I have to say, the trip started particularly well with an upgrade into Business class on our first flight out to Mumbai!!
