Our trip to Borneo was really our first adventure together overseas. We loved it so much we have continued to plan and travel abroad. We also met an Italian couple on this trip on Mabul Island. They opened our eyes to the joys of staying in one place and getting to know the local pace, rather than flitting about the country-side just sampling bits of the culture and landmarks. We have tried to keep this in mind when planning our big 2008 round the world trip.
