With 50 days to go before we jet out of the country, we are busy with preparations not only for travel, but also for renting our house, and still looking for a place for Amigo. The computer has become my constant companion, one which I wish I could shake off, or bury, or something. Because of the Olympics in Beijing, Chinese visas are difficult to obtain. We must prove bookings for accomodation for every night in China. This is not the way that we want to travel, it is so limited. What if we love something and want to stay longer? Oh well, we must do what we must, and are nearly finished so the computer continues to be attached to me for a while longer.

We have had our yellow fever and rabies shots and will get Hep A and B soon.
