About this blog

International Science Academy Kenya 2011 (ISAK 11) is organized by Christiane-Herzog-Schule, Heilbronn (Germany). Every second year the school offers a year long "Seminarkurs" for students from class 12th and 13th. This propaedeutic course prepares the students for their various studies at the university. As a highlight of that seminar most of the students (17) join the educational tour, well prepared in different scientific or social fields like politics, social work, botanic, human-animal-conflict, anthropology or medicine. For the first time we have traveled to Kenya in 2009 and started a school partnership with Bishop Philip Sulumeti Girls High School in Kakamega/Kenya. In 2011 we will build up that building and will stay in our partner school for 5 days. The seminar and the ISAK11 will be managed and guided by two teachers, Dipl.-Biol. Silke Fischer, StD, and Dipl.-Päd. Raimund Pousset, OStR. Students: Colleen Beckert, Alinda Braun, Bianca Eigenmann, Dominik Eisele, Hanna Gaudernack, Jennifer Gerstung, Maximilian Hermes, Maylin Koch, Hannes Kühner, Sonja Rechkemmer, Laura Schieferdecker, Aline Schöllkopf, Bahar Sever, Jasmin Siegele, Maximilian Wanker and Hanna Wetzel.
