This was the first trip i took back in December '02 that wasnt with family. I went to Surfers Paradise with my best friend Laura. A mere 7 days but a great experience none the less. This travel blog is a re-telling of sorts about that trip. The blogs are a combination of both diary entries and memory re-tellings. My photography was amatuer to say the least and all photos are scans of the originals which the photos suffer in quality for. Each blog title is named after songs that appear on "Everything But The Girl's" definitive collection "like the deserts miss the rain". Which for me was very much the soundtrack to this trip.
