Our wonderful holiday in May 2008 visiting the sanctuaries of Periyar, Idukki, Thattekad, Chinnar and the charming areas around Munnar, Kumily and Marayoor. The highlights of the trip were the rare sighting of the elusive Nilgiri Marten and Ceylon Frogmouths, the stunning scenery in Chinnakanal and on the Munnar Maraiyur route, the prehistoric Muniyara Dolmens, the huge Western Ghats butterflies .... and so very much more .....
