Near the Tansa Sanctuary, Mumbai
About this blog
Mumbai is undoubtedly a grotty concrete jungle. However there are several forested areas fairly close by, not counting the SGNP, which are worth a half day or day trip especially during and in the months after the monsoons. These places lush green, full of wildflowers, butterflies, colourful birds, and seasonal streams and waterfalls.
This entry is about a pristine place just over an hours drive from Bombay, just off NH-3, on the flip side of the Tansa Sanctuary.
