This is about our annual 'pilgrimage' to Avalanche in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu - truly heaven on earth. This time the icing on the cake was the unexpected sighting of a full grown wild Tiger on New Years Day. The shola forests of Avalanche are a treasure house of rare fauna - God's own botanical garden.
