A visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site on Elephanta Island in Bombay / Mumbai Harbour. The exquisitely carved cave temples are dedicated to Lord Siva. The three faced colossus of Mahesamurthi - Trimurthi - Lord Siva as Sadasiva - in the Main Cave is ethereal, sublime and transcendental in its beauty.
The ferry ride to and from the island is a scenic journey in its own right.
