I gave a paper in Prague then I was due in Istanbul 30 days later so I took the chance to travel by land and visit everything inbetween. With my UNESCO World Heritage list in one hand and the Lonely Planet in the other, Pete and I spent an amazing month exploring and experiencing the joys and sorrows of Eastern Europe
