Discovering Istanbul: A year of adventure

Day 3 Hello,

My name is Ryan McDonald and my wife is Hannah. Hannah recently recieved a job at Koc University in Istanbul Turkey. We will be living off campus in a housing complex called Emlak Konut for at least one year. Neither one of us has ever travelled outside the United States before. We speak very little Turkish, but it is getting better every day! I invite everyone to read about our adventures and learn something new about a facinating and historical location.
